3rd Season is a Charm

Getting ready for our 3rd Season with our Hopyard. This season, we go commercial...hopefully. We're on the lookout for a brewery in Northern California who wants to use wet hops around late July.

Wrap up for 2009

For the curious we planted around a quarter acre of Cascade hops in Walnut Grove this year. With the help of a lot of people we got a make shift pole system up. The hops grew a lot more than I thought they would for the first year. So that kinda took us off guard but sort of restarted the homebrewing. I made a pretty tasty double pale with a ton of fresh hops. Plans for next year include sales and more brewing. We will probably plant some Glacier as well.
